Tournaments

On Saturday, 30 May, Abeach is hosting the Open Beach Tournament — our first in-house beach volleyball tournament of the season. Sign up as a pair and compete for the title King or Queen of the Court. Entry is €25 per team (pair). The tournament starts at 10:00 and ends around 16:00, finishing with a snack and a drink. You can also join if you’re not an Abeach member!

In 2025, the Lingewaard volleyball clubs (Setash, Kidang, and Tweestroom) organised the fourth Lingewaard Cup Beach Volleyball for companies and other employers. We joined as the Arnhem location for this great event.

This year, we’re organising our own Company Tournament, especially for entrepreneurs from the Arnhem region. Would you like to take part with your company?

Teams per company or organisation consist of at least 4 players (maximum 6). No volleyball experience is required.

To wrap up the training season, we’re organising the Youth Tournament on 28 June. From 13:00 to 16:00, various matches will be played at Valkenhuizen, with teams changing each round. Start with your beach buddy, then play the next match with someone else. Pairs will mainly be grouped by level. By the end of the tournament, you’ll have made lots of new beach friends — and you’ll have an individual score. Will you be crowned youth champion?

Of course, we’ll end the summer with our Abeach season finale tournament! After weeks of beach volleyball, we’ll close the season with a fantastic day full of competition, music, and a tasty BBQ. So put 16 Aug in your calendar and sign up. New this year is the 3-vs-3 tournament. We often see participants playing open sessions in this format, which is why we’ve included it in the finale tournament. From 11:00 to 17:00 you’ll be playing in the line-up you choose. From 17:00 we’ll fire up the BBQ and keep the good vibes going late into the evening. Registration is possible with or without BBQ.
